LEADERSHIP

Brad B. Allen
CCIM, SIOR
Principal

Brad has been involved in real estate brokerage, development, and investing since 1995. He co-founded Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group with Lance Sigmon in 2011. Prior to this he was the Sales Manager at Roger Cox & Associates in 1997 and then promoted to President in 2001, where he served for 10 years.

He has been involved in the ground-up development and redevelopment of approximately 1,500,000 square feet and currently owns and manages approximately 1,200,000 square feet of retail, office, multi-family, hotel, and industrial space. Brad has been involved in over 40 partnerships that have proven to be a vital component of his success. He is familiar with all aspects of development, whether it’s acquiring raw or developed land, working with architects and designers for optimal functionality and layout on new construction or existing buildings.

Brad works with bankers to ensure projects are underwritten and financed with the most advantageous rates and terms. He has created a strategic team of accountants and lawyers in putting together partnerships that are advantageous for all involved.  He works closely with city officials to obtain the desired zoning and entitlements to meet the needs of the project. He understands the importance of developing working relationships with the right subcontractors to ensure the project remains viable by bringing it to a successful conclusion on time and on the budget.

Brad graduated from Ricks College, Brigham Young University, Idaho with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting(’94) and then transferred to Brigham Young University, Utah and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with an Emphasis in Finance from the Marriott School of Management (’96).

Lance D. Sigmon
Principal

Lance Sigmon co-founded Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group with Brad Allen in 2011, after over seven years as a top producing commercial real estate broker. Today, Allen Sigmon Real Estate group is recognized as a premier full service commercial real estate company, with development, brokerage, investment, and property management services all found in one location. Lance and Brad personally own and manage over 1 million square feet of commercial property.

Growing up in NM, Lance has had the privilege of being mentored by some of the state’s most successful real estate professionals. From bankers to contractors, politicians to attorneys, Lance’s network and relationships span the entire state of NM.

Lance’s development experience includes entitlement work, subdividing, construction, rezoning, financing, equity syndication and oversight of all aspects of the development team. He has acquired and/or developed numerous properties including award-winning hotels, shopping centers, warehouses, apartment complexes, office buildings, residential lots, retail pad sites, and stand-alone retail buildings.

Lance is known in the business community for his hard work, integrity, and passion. His passion for the outdoors has lead Lance from mountain peaks to beaches in North and Central America. He is fluent in Spanish and even lived in the Patagonia region of southern Argentina for two years.

Lance graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2002. His degree in Business Management, with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing, has proven invaluable in his commercial real estate career.

Ben Nolte
Associate Broker

Before becoming a commercial real estate broker at Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group in 2013, Ben spent 10 years investing in real estate himself. This allowed him to gain valuable experience with many property types. He has extensive experience with redemptive rights and properties in various stages of foreclosure. Ben has represented both local and national tenants, landlords and buyers in office, retail and industrial transactions with clients such as Xerox and Paramount Pictures.

Ben graduated from the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management in 2003 and was trained and Licensed as a Practitioner Neuro-Linguistic Programming in 2015.

Thomas Mortensen
Associate Broker

Thomas is a fifth-generation New Mexican, born and raised in the Albuquerque area. He attended public schools and graduated from Cibola High School in 2008.

Thomas found his passion for real estate early in life, making his first buy at the age of 16.  As a student at BYU-Idaho, Thomas interned for Allen Sigmon and also worked the following year as an intern for Keller Williams in Idaho.  He was an apartment manager during his junior and senior years of college.

After graduation, Thomas spent 2 years as an analyst for Honeywell. Thomas then returned to work as a broker for Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group, where he is today.

Thomas has quickly excelled as a commercial real estate broker. He has honed his skills working with clients such as Jiffy Lube, New Mexico Radiant Heating Supply, Triumph Motorcycles, Mighty Auto Parts, William Scotsman, New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranch, Rio Rancho Public Schools, and multiple Real Estate investors, large and small.

Jessie Springer
Associate Broker

Jessie Springer was born and raised in New Mexico. She has been a commercial broker for over 5 years, working with such clients as Little Caesars, The UPS Store, and Woodspring Hotel and Suites. 

Jessie realized she possessed an entrepreneurial spirit early, starting multiple businesses in the entertainment and beauty industries. Jessie found her passion in real estate because her dad told her she had to.

Jessie has been an associate broker for Allen Sigmon since Jan. 2020, and has helped clients finding retail, office, and vacant land.

David Miles
Director of Marketing

David joined the Allen Sigmon team in 2017 after spending over six years developing marketing strategies for a number of local businesses. He has experience in a variety of industries, including construction, information technology, and advertising.

David enjoys helping businesses and entrepreneurs grow to reach their full potential through planning, strategizing, and implementing best practices for brand recognition. He is an Albuquerque native – born and raised – who spends his time helping to improve the local community. He joined the Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group because he is passionate about development in Albuquerque and the surrounding areas.

In 2007, David graduated from the University of New Mexico with a BA in English and Communications.

Claudia Enriquez
Accountant

As the accountant for Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group, Claudia Enriquez is able to interface with owners regarding their monthly financials. With management accounting experience since 2013, she is able to prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, payroll, and general ledgers with adjusting entries. She also has a strong background in accounts payables/receivables, analyzing expenses to identify capital expenditures, and reporting to the IRS and State of New Mexico. Reports include; CRS taxes, NM Withholding, 940 and 941 reporting, and tax preparation at the end of the fiscal year for CPA firms to complete the corresponding tax returns to the IRS.

Claudia’s main job functions are to perform payroll functions, submit payroll liabilities for the company, safeguard over 1,000,000 square feet of commercial assets, and to manage and accurately report our company’s financial position in accordance with G.A.A.P ethical standards and company policies.

Gabriella Cortez
Executive Assistant

Gabriella joined the Allen Sigmon Real Estate Team in late 2020. After traveling throughout the U.S. with her former career where she specialized in marketing and sales, she realized she was the most passionate about the economics and development sectors of Albuquerque. Her motivation to bring more small businesses, retailers, and entertainment uses to our market is unsurpassed. She is eager to increase our job growth percentages as well as our overall population. 

While growing up in a small town, and being the youngest of five sisters, Gabriella independence made her realize she ultimately had big city goals that she needed to fulfill. Upon joining the Allen Sigmon Team, she solidified her decision and knew that this was the perfect fit for her and her career path. Being able to work alongside some of the most knowledgeable developers in the state has helped her to expand her horizon and absorb the priceless information regarding the Albuquerque MSA and surrounding markets. 

Gabriella is a 2018 graduate from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor’s in Business with an emphasis on Marketing. When she isn’t in the office keeping the team intact, she enjoys being in the outdoors (which she feels one is never lost in nature!)

Nicole Abad
Director of Property Management

Nicole joined the Allen Sigmon team in 2017 after spending over 3 years in property management with multiple multi-family communities. She worked at Allen Sigmon’s University Village as an Assistant Property Manager for the past 4 years. She is experienced in Property Management and Customer Service, with skills ranging in Budgeting, Leasing, Building Maintenance, Sales, and Customer Retention.

She is Approachable, well presented, and able to establish good working relationships with a range of different people (boards, owners, vendors, residents. Nicole possesses a proven ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions to problems.

Nicole enjoys helping residential and commercial properties grow to reach their full potential. She is high energy, a serious multi-tasker, and does not like to leave things waiting. She likes to get things done helping others learn and grow.

Cristal Alvarez
Accounting Assistant

Cristal Alvarez began as an intern for Allen Sigmon in March ’21 through the LDS Church. After completing her internship, she officially joined the Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group as the team’s accounting assistant. Her primary work focuses on accounts payable and accounts receivable, and assisting with the preparation of financial reports, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining confidentiality.  

Cristal was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After graduating high school, she decided to accept a scholarship offer to UNM. She completed her bachelor’s in 2020 from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management with a concentration in entrepreneurial studies.  

Outside of work you can find her playing her guitar or ukulele. She enjoys longboarding, hiking, and traveling.

Gannon Coffman
Director of Development

Gannon attended The University of New Mexico where he earned a BA in Communication and Business Management. He subsequently studied for his Masters in Real Estate Development (MRED) at the University of Arizona. Gannon’s extensive background in retail leasing, national tenant representation, land assemblage, STNL build-to-suits projects, and economic development have provided him a unique and comprehensive perspective of the CRE world.

Gannon excels at underwriting new land development and acquisition opportunities, managing project budgets, entitlements, raising capital & design-construction management. He is currently focused on optimizing portfolio performance, new acquisitions, expanding industry relationships, coordinating day-to-day development strategies, organizing best practices, streamlining efficiencies, and stewarding multiple projects through the development life cycle.
