LEADERSHIP

Brad B. Allen
CCIM, SIOR
Principal

Brad has been involved in real estate brokerage, development, and investing since 1995. He co-founded Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group with Lance Sigmon in 2011. Prior to this he was the Sales Manager at Roger Cox & Associates in 1997 and then promoted to President in 2001, where he served for 10 years.

He has been involved in the ground-up development and redevelopment of approximately 1,125,000 square feet and currently owns and manages approximately 1,000,000 square feet of retail, office, multi-family, hotel, and industrial space. Brad has been involved in over 32 partnerships that have proven to be a vital component of his success. He is familiar with all aspects of development, whether it’s acquiring raw or developed land, working with architects and designers for optimal functionality and layout on new construction or existing buildings.

Brad works with bankers to ensure projects are underwritten and financed with the most advantageous rates and terms. He has created a strategic team of accountants and lawyers in putting together partnerships that are advantageous for all involved.  He works closely with city officials to obtain the desired zoning and entitlements to meet the needs of the project. He understands the importance of developing working relationships with the right subcontractors to ensure the project remains viable by bringing it to a successful conclusion on time and on the budget.

Brad graduated from Ricks College, Brigham Young University, Idaho with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting(’94) and then transferred to Brigham Young University, Utah and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with an Emphasis in Finance from the Marriott School of Management (’96).

Lance D. Sigmon
Principal

Lance co-founded Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group with Brad Allen in 2011. Prior to this, he was a top producing broker and developer at Roger Cox & Associates for over 7 years.

Lance’s development experience includes entitlement work, subdividing, construction, rezoning, and coordination with a variety of attorneys, bankers, and other consultants. He has been involved with every aspect including construction, marketing, staffing and financing of projects, amounting to over 900,000 square feet. As a business owner, property owner and developer himself, Lance understands the needs and concerns his clients face. Some of these clients have included national home builders, retailers, local users, and developers of all property types, such as Pulte Homes, DR Horton, Wagner Mechanical, Walgreens, Hibbett Sports, RUE 21, Maurices, Famous Footwear, and LGI Homes. At this time he owns and manages approximately 850,000 square feet of retail, office, multi-family, hotel, and industrial space.

Lance graduated from Brigham Young University, Utah in 2002. His degree in Business Management, with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing, has proven invaluable in his commercial real estate career.

BROKERS

Rob Powell
MBA, CCIM
Vice President

Rob joined Allen Sigmon in 2013 and is recognized as an entrepreneur, commercial real estate investor and broker, as well as a commercial property owner. He was selected in 2013 to serve as the President for the CCIM New Mexico Chapter and was identified by CoStar as a Power Broker in 2014, 2015, and 2016. He owns and manages commercial real estate and has real estate investments in various locations throughout the Southwest Region of the United States.

Rob is a commercial real estate coach for the distinguished  Massimo Group.  He mentors several high profile commercial brokers across the country.

Rob’s investments include retail shopping centers, manufactured housing communities, industrial parks, residential apartment buildings, commercial land, and storage facilities. He also has experience in assisting investors in acquiring and disposing of real estate investments. Rob has been involved in investment sales with Walgreens Pharmacy, Walmart Neighborhood, Chili’s Restaurant, Western Refining, Boston Market, Loves Trucking, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and McDonald’s.He has also processed leases for NAPA Auto Parts, Thomson Reuters, Solar City, Zimmer Biomet, Sears Corporation, Lowe’s Super Save Food Market, Family Dollar, Whataburger, Goodwill, US Army, and Wells Fargo. Rob’s real estate investments have been written about in several books; including Commercial Real Estate for Dummies by Peter Harris, Maui Millionaires by Diane Kennedy, Making Big Money in Foreclosures by Peter Conti, and Buying Real Estate Without Cash or Credit by David Finkel.

Rob graduated from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas with an MBA.

Jeff Martinez
MBA
Vice President

Jeff was born and raised in Albuquerque and has over 13 years of commercial real estate experience along with several years of experience in starting businesses, ownership, management, and sales. His diverse and extensive background gives him an exceptional skill set which allows him to provide his clients with valuable insight into innovative solutions to their commercial real estate needs. Jeff was named vice president for Allen Sigmon in 2013. He has represented many well known clients, such as Ford Motor Company, Netflix, Honeywell Co., Napa Auto Parts, Planet Fitness, Sears, John Deere, Northrop Grumman, Verizon Wireless, Love’s Gas, Phenix Salon Suites, several equity funds, and local investors.

Jeff’s success is reflected by his notable portfolio of achievements; including Top Producing Team in 2013, 2014 and 2015, CoStar Power Broker in 2014, 2015, and 2016, and has been involved in some of the most significant commercial real estate transactions in the market. He has been a licensed realtor since 2002 and served as president for the Real Estate Education Foundation and the Leasing and Information Network. In addition, Jeff’s limitless relationships within the community allow him to stay fully informed on upcoming trends and developments.

Jeff earned his MBA in 2012 from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico and has extensive experience operating in business and sales, and his expansive understanding of business finance allows him to efficiently guide his clients through complex transactions with a comprehensive plan for success.

Ben Nolte
Associate Broker

Before becoming a commercial real estate broker at Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group in 2013, Ben spent 10 years investing in real estate himself. This allowed him to gain valuable experience with many property types. He has extensive experience with redemptive rights and properties in various stages of foreclosure. Ben has represented both local and national tenants, landlords and buyers in office, retail and industrial transactions with clients such as Xerox and Paramount Pictures.

Ben graduated from the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management in 2003 and was trained and Licensed as a Practitioner Neuro-Linguistic Programming in 2015.

Daniel Kearney
Associate Broker

Daniel joined Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group in the summer of 2014 because of his passion for local Development. He has worked with a multitude of local retail and office clients to aid in site selection and development; including WisePies, Peerless Tyre Co, Caremore Chiropractic, Liquid Hub, Runway Apparel, Allstate, and Duke City Auto Body, among other clients.

In addition to working with clients, Daniel spearheads leasing efforts for local and national retail investors. While brokering deals full-time at Allen Sigmon and attempting to expand his inventory and client base, he considers this stage of his career as the building block of a successful future in retail and office development and ownership. As Daniel pushes forward in his professional life, he is currently finishing his degree in business administration at the University of New Mexico. He hopes to peruse a law degree and be a serious player in the future economic development of Albuquerque.

Chris Armistad
Associate Broker

Chris Armistad joined Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group in April 2015. He has over 10 years of sales experience, notably as the top producing sales consultant for Budget Blinds of the Western Triangle in Durham, North Carolina where the franchise he represented was annually recognized as one the top franchises in the nation.

Chris attributes his success at Budget Blinds to his ability to guide customers toward making good decisions and providing excellent service. In 2010 he co-founded Veritas College Preparatory Charter School in Memphis, Tennessee where he served as the school’s Deputy Director of Operations. Since its inception, Veritas College Prep has been recognized by the Tennessee Board of Education as one of the top performing middle schools in the state. In December 2014 Chris and his family relocated to the Albuquerque area. He is now pursuing his dream to work in real estate full time and putting his consulting, sales, operations and customer service experience to work for his clients.

Chris graduated in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in applied psychology from Cedarville University in Ohio.

Austin Tidwell
Associate Broker

Austin joined Allen Sigmon in 2015 after graduating from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Management. He has extensive experience in marketing and advertising with a specialty in advertising listed properties on behalf of his clients.

Austin also has represented many national and local tenants in commercial real estate transactions in the Albuquerque area. Over the past two years, he has built strategic relationships with news outlets such as the Albuquerque Journal,  Albuquerque Business First, KOAT News 7 and KRQE News 13 and has helped Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group gain more positive news coverage than any other real estate group in New Mexico.

Austin’s desire is to use his marketing and advertising background to greatly benefit his clients by offering professional services above and beyond brokerage industry standards.

Atuoma Ezeh
Associate Broker

Atuoma joined the Allen Sigmon team in 2015 as a student at the University New Mexico where he is currently studying economics and business. In the past, he worked in construction and tech support for Blake’s Lottaburger and in data input for Agsure Insurance.

With a personal interest in real estate, Atuoma decided to work with Allen Sigmon while in school to build his professional skills and gain experience in the real estate industry. He has an entrepreneurial mind and has a desire to help people realize their investment potential.

Thomas Mortensen
Associate Broker

Thomas first started to work for Allen SIgmon as an Intern in the summer and fall of 2012.  As an intern Thomas quickly found his passion for real estate.  Thomas worked on finding investment properties for the Allen Sigmon and assisting in the brokerage and property management process.  After his internship, Thomas went back to BYU-Idaho where he graduated with a degree in Business Finance.

After graduation, Thomas went to work for Honeywell Aerospace ISC where he worked as an Analyst.  In the two years Thomas was at Honeywell he was awarded multiple site Bravo awards for the streamlining of a complex delivery process.

Thomas left Honeywell after 2 years to pursue his goal of becoming a commercial real estate broker.  Being 4th generation New Mexican, Thomas hopes to be able to help build up Albuquerque and help the local community.

Victoria Alderman
Executive Assistant

Victoria joined Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group in the Spring of 2013. She has 5 years of behind-the-scenes experience in the real estate industry in both residential and commercial properties. Within the real estate sector, Victoria has been involved in leasing, sales, coordinating transactions, marketing, and management. She also has 4 years of experience in small business management and marketing.

Victoria enjoys seeing the various stages of real estate transactions from beginning to end and being part of the Allen Sigmon Real Estate team has helped her gained exposure to national tenants and deals in a locally owned business environment. Victoria graduated from the University of New Mexico with a dual baccalaureate in psychology and sociology.

David Miles
Director of Marketing

David joined the Allen Sigmon team in 2017 after spending over six years developing marketing strategies for a number of local businesses. He has experience in a variety of industries, including construction, information technology, and advertising.

David enjoys helping businesses and entrepreneurs grow to reach their full potential through planning, strategizing, and implementing best practices for brand recognition. He is an Albuquerque native – born and raised – who spends his time helping to improve the local community. He joined the Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group because he is passionate about development in Albuquerque and the surrounding areas.

In 2007, David graduated from the University of New Mexico with a BA in English and Communications.

Emily Venezia
Director of Property Management

Emily comes to New Mexico after spending 6 years in Nashville Tennessee as a residential property manager. She has a wealth of knowledge in real estate operations, management, and oversight. She is extremely excited about applying her experience to the commercial side at Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group.

While in Nashville, Emily was involved with a number of groups including Greater Nashville Apartment Association, Tennessee Association of Realtors, and the United States Parachute Association. She is an avid skydiver and has been enjoying the different altitude of New Mexico.  

In 2010, Emily graduated from the Arizona State University with a Biomedical Science degree.

Meghan Mascarenas
Front Office Executive

Meghan joined the Allen Sigmon team in 2016. She was born and raised in northern New Mexico. She moved to Albuquerque to finish her Bachelor’s degree and pursue a Master’s in Counseling.

At Allen Sigmon, Meghan supports the team with strong communication, project management, and organizational skills. She contributes to the overall operations of the company and helps answer questions from clients and tenants. She is a member of the UNM Alumni Association, a Notary Public for the state of New Mexico, and was a volunteer for the Rape Crisis Center of Central New Mexico for over a year. Meghan graduated with a Bachelor’s from UNM in 2015.

Claudia Enriquez
Accountant

As the accountant for Allen Sigmon Real Estate Group, Claudia Enriquez is able to interface with owners regarding their monthly financials. With four years of management accounting experience, she is able to prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, payroll, and general ledgers with adjusting entries. She also has a strong background in accounts payables/receivables, analyzing expenses to identify capital expenditures, and reporting to the IRS and State of New Mexico. Reports include; CRS taxes, NM Withholding, 940 and 941 reporting, and tax preparation at the end of the fiscal year for CPA firms to complete the corresponding tax returns to the IRS.

Claudia’s main job functions are to perform payroll functions, submit payroll liabilities for the company, safeguard over 1,000,000 square feet of commercial assets, and to manage and accurately report our company’s financial position in accordance with G.A.A.P ethical standards and company policies.
