Job Description
SUMMARY:
Maintains and analyzes commercial real estate ledgers; assists with preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements and reports; reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts; and prepares special reports as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but is not limited to the following:

Supervise accounting assistant

Accounts payable/ receivable

Payroll
-
Maintain employee files, health insurance, and IRA accounts

Review and process commissions
-
Reconcile all bank accounts
-
Prepare Financial Statements
-
Reconcile Balance Sheets
-
Update accountings rent rolls for financials / investors
-
Keep and maintain confidential data
-
Process distribution checks
-
Report CRS and pay
-
NM workers Comp Audits
-
Prepare all year-end financials for tax season
-
Assist CPA's
-
Keep tax returns and K1s, distribute accordingly.

Report to banks/ lenders
-
Enter journal entries
-
Open bank accounts
-
Maintain tenant ledgers
-
Process W2/ W3 and 1096/1099

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related area from a Four-year College or University or 2 years, minimum of relevant experience

Must have knowledge in New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax

Would be nice to have but is not necessary: Prior Property Management accounting experience, experience in Quick Books, Appfolio and/or Yardi

Attention to detail, analytical, organized
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
